Standing all by her lonesome on the side of the dance floor. Inside her heart was breaking. All she wanted was one guy to ask her to dance. She felt tears welling up in her eyes. She looked around and thats when she caught her brothers eye. He looked bored. He smiled behind a tight face. She swallowed the lump in her dry throat. She felt like throwing up.
"Do you want to go home?" her borther asked. Her mind was screaming "NO!". She was hoping that someone would ask her to dance. She waited a little while longer, before the final last slow song came on.
"Lets go." she sighed to her brother. As they were walking out the door, to her older brothers car she began to cry. Tears running steadily down her cheeks. Her brother came over to her, grabbed her in a big protective bear hug
and said, "Don' worry about it. Guys are jerks." It was like he had read her mind. She wiped away the burning tears from her cheek and began walking towards the car again.
"Well atleast this horrible night is over." she thought while opening the passenger side door.
