This is a short poem that I wrote, and though it seems romantic, it wasn't meant to be.
Straight Up Chicken


I want to be for you, what you are for me.


I want to be the person you can talk to.

I want to be the person you can trust.

I want to be the one you can cry in front of.

I want to be the one you are happy to see.

I want to be the one you are comfortable near.

I want to be the one you can share yourself with.

I want to be the person who you can run to.

Wait! What's all this crap about "I Want?!""I Want" can be followed by "But I shouldn't,""But I couldn't,""But I can't!" Here is the truth as it should be said.

I will be the person you can completely trust.

I will be the person you can open yourself, and empty yourself, to.

I will be the shoulder to cry on, and the arm that comforts you.

I will be for you, what you are for me.
