Boys' Waking Nightmare

The child awoke, like any normal day.

The times he could remember,

Were all gone, in a giant way.

He called for someone, in this cold November,

But no one could figure out,

Why he could no longer see.

The doctors all took a different route,

Only one took the one most gutsy.

A scan of the brain, showed the result.

The frightened young boy quivered and shook,

As the doctor called for another consult.

They all agreed that the damage was done,

This poor young boys', vision was gone.
