FAILURE, A FEAR

I don't like to be disappointed
Failed expectations really unnerve me
So I'd rather not expect anything

This fear of failure sucks me dry
I'd rather not fluster with anticipation
I'd prefer not set goals to achieve
I'd opt not set time lines to abide
I'd choose not put my trust in someone
All for the fear of failure

This fear of failure closes me off
I survive in solitude
I exist stagnant
I breathe without a purpose
I live just to live
