Slowly I took off my helmet, and tossed it aside, as I threw myself down into the nearest chair. I leaned forward, placing my elbows on the table, put both my hands on my temples, and let out a long sigh. Work had been tough today. Then it hit me. I have absolutely no idea why it did, but the sudden revelation made me shudder. “I, I failed.” I mumbled to myself. I’d survived the wars, and I would say did pretty darn well in them too. I’ve always done what was asked of me, and then some. But today. Well I guess it happens to everyone sometime, but I never dreamed it would happen to me, and especially not with something so important. I slammed my arm down, and ran it across the table in front of me, throwing to the side everything I had left on there earlier. I didn’t notice what, I was too preoccupied. A solemn frown went on my face, and I felt myself falling deeper and deeper into depression as I slammed my head into my desk, and moaned, “Those were the droids I was looking for.”
