A small collection of untitled poems.
I found a thing the other day
That gave me wings to fly away
But with the wings there came a weight
Which left me in my current state
Paralysis by pondering
My thoughts continue wandering
But on the ground my feet must stay
And soon take root, then waste away
Another time, Another place
Another world -- To see your face
Would be to smile; a joy to keep
And not with bitter hatred weep
But from the poison which did creep
Inside my heart was rooted deep
Immunity from fresher foes
You've killed me, friend
Well so it goes.

Time is not a friend of mine
It crept upon me from behind
And stabbed me with a bitter blade
In twisting hands my soul decayed

A pile of souls left unattended
Heaping into heights
A testament that mortal man did
Make a devil's might
Inhabitants would think it splendid
Having lost their sight
By what may a fool be offended
Though he has no right?

Innumerable spots
Upon which my mind has been caught
And scattered as they pull
Until one day returned in full
To there from whence it came
That place which does not have a name
And if we were to give it one
The nameless place would come undone
And now unwound down to its threads
Which find their way into our heads
Though partial solace they but bring
We do not know and so we cling
To what we cannot understand
Imagined peace of promised land.

With the ghost in their minds
They call out, "are you blind?"
They see something that others will not
An unusual trait
To which they can't relate
Those of them without ghosts in their thoughts
