Poem written about a childhood experience with oldest brother. Comical but real.
I opened a bottle of orange
I thought it to be pop;
I took a swallow or two,
And nearly blew my top.

My brother dared me to do it
So I took a swallow you see;
If I'd drained the whole bottle,
It would have been the end of me.

It was oil or anti-freeze
I didn't know the difference then,
But I'm glad it burnt when going down,
Or I wouldn't have reached age ten.

So when my brother dared me
To do something he wouldn't try,
I became a little more cautious
Cause I was too young to die.
