At the start of the day, I just can't get up
So I lay there for a while thinkin' bout my pup
But instead of layin round, i get up and go on my way
My friends all say, "Good morning," i just say "Hey"

All through my classes, its all just a blur
I pay so close attention, but my brain just won't stir
At the end of the day, when nothing's gone my way
I stick my head up and go on my way

I go home and blast music as loud as it will go
I play my guitar but i still feel so low
My parents come home and everything's still all wrong
So I turn my music up louder and start to sing along

I sit at my desk, thinking of things to do, to write
I gotta make a decision, should i go left, or should I go right?
I feel like no one understands, they don't know what I'm going through
Even though I know, they've been a teenager too
