The villains’ part will be filled
A rising star
In success stories of tragedy

Unsure in demeanor
Positive in sin
Broken cry’s of responsibility
Lost on sound soaked ears

Wanton desire
Giving desperate last bow
As final curtain call
Bellows out its eminence

But curtain handlers languish in their torpor
Giving desire a chance to flee
From drowning in pools of velvet lace
That will undoubtedly still crush her fragile life

Nimbly hopping off stage
Narrowly avoiding curtain call catastrophe
She grabs the hand of long time admirer
Regret

Running sprightly through awe stricken crowds
They laugh gaily to each other and the world
A sign of defiance
A tale of their remembrance

But as all fated tales must end
Their joyous twosome
Quickly becomes an embittered threesome
Uncertainty has now joined their race

The race that begun for freedom
But may now very well end in their permanent separation
As they glance at each other while their feet take them farther and farther away
From the boundaries they had set for themselves

Unbridled desire
Meets suffocating regret
Brought together in union
By their mutual awkwardness and temperance


Knifes edge
Quickly brought home
By the fact that the future is unknown
And that an end is near
