Love's Task


They stood, looking beyond
snow fell, branches found

Storm with a blast
knew day's would last

Hand spoke word's past
face showed love's task

Felt burnt patches, red
purple and blue instead

Movie of momeries
still shot framed

Saved the strive
heart opened wide

Love grew more
other's soul floor

When they held
storybook never fell

Only golden dove
tears loving love
