MY BODY, MY SOUL AND MY SPIRIT

God made each of us very special;

But our most amazing parts are our Bodies, Souls and Spirits.

What are these? What makes them so special?



Your body is your physical self.

We can see, hear, smell, taste and touch with our Bodies.

Our Bodies are houses for our Souls and our Spirits.

We need to take good care of our Bodies to keep our Souls and Spirits well.



Your Soul is who you really are inside.

Our Souls consist of our character, our habits and our emotions.

Our souls are the part of us that never die.

Our Souls will continue to exist even after our Bodies do not.

Good choices will keep our Souls healthy and clean.



Your Spirit is your breath of life; it is the glue that holds your Body and Soul together.

It is also called our "life essence".

When someone loses their "life essence" or their breath of life, they die.

When someone dies, their Souls are separated from their Bodies and goes back to God, because God is the Maker of every Soul.



We, as humans, are really special because in the whole animal kingdom, we are the only ones with Souls, where as all other living thing have only Bodies and Spirits.

God made us like this for a very special reason.

God wants our Souls to come back to Him when our lives here on earth are over.



God gave us Souls so we can learn, think and make choices for ourselves.

God wants us to learn many good things and He sent Jesus as an example to us so we can make good choices and learn good things to make our lives easier and happier.

Jesus also has the power to heal us from any bad thing we do in our lives.



Jesus is God's only Begotten Son.

He was born by miracle and grew up as we do.

Jesus is God's essence on earth to teach us how to live good lives.

One of Jesus' most important lessons is to "Love one another".

When we follow in Jesus' footsteps, God will be pleased with us.



God had also made two special places for our Souls to stay after we die.

One place is called Heaven, for those who follow Jesus and make good choices in their lives on earth.

The other place is called Hedes, for those who do not follow Jesus but choose to do evil in their lifetime.

When people do evil things, they will be punished for them.



We all only have one Body, one Soul and one Spirit each, so we need to take good care of them all.

We need to also help others see how important it is to take good care of theirb Bodies, Souls and Spirits.

If we continue to feed and nurture ourselves with good things and not bad, our Bodies, our Souls and our Spirits will be happy and healthy and this will make God happy too.





(With simple words and expressions, you can teach your child the importance of self-worth and spirituality with this timeless lesson on the function of their Bodies, Souls and Spirits. They will learn how to take good care of themselves and be able to teach their peers the same.
