Brianna gritted her teeth as bolts of pain shot up her leg. While hiking the Montana Rockies, she had slipped and fallen into a large crack beside the trail, trapping her foot beneath a rock. With the sun sinking, her chances of being found were dwindling quickly. Brianna dug into her pack. Ill prepared for a cold night alone on the mountainside, she prayed, “God, please don’t let this be my last climb.” Seeing one bar of reception, she gripped her phone and dialed, waiting anxiously. A distant voice answered. “Hey, honey!”
