Dirty just like the rest of you.
I've grabbed the hand of mans demands
And held my breath as I jumped in
And never once did I regret
My decision to understand sin

For in this selfishness I seek
I find that pain becomes the meek
And more and more do I desire
To be that girl, the one elite

But I can only toil and spin within the pain I put me in
But when I glanced around I saw
No other man did better
They all ignored the call

And maybe that's what it means to be the righteousness of God in me
No girl, no whore, no filthy rags
Could ever I in desperation see
That understanding is what love demands

For had I stayed on my white horse
A porcelain gift to the god of Church
I would have retracted the helping hand
And never helped God in His search
