A Fool’s Dream

A friend once told me that true happiness doesn’t exist.
Life is a series of compromises, I was told.
Only a fool believes in true love.

Well I am a fool and I believe in true love.
The only problem is that you have to surrender yourself to it.
Once you have done so, only then can you find true love and happiness.

If you hide behind walls and hide from the truth, you will never be free.
A wise man once said it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.
The reason way that is true is because life is a series of moments.
There is no right and wrong, it is what makes you happy.
If you find a moment that makes you happy and you weren’t before,
You need to ask yourself why you weren’t happy before.
Cause if you were than you wouldn't have found it.
The worst thing you can do is doubt it.
You can't live your life second guessing.
Living in the past is will literally take you nowhere.

A person can trick themselves in happiness.
The human mind can easily be persuaded, even by yourself.
Unfortunately, that illusion can not stay in place forever.
Eventually, something will come along and challenge your perceptions.
You will be forced to examine your reality and see how real it is.
Then you must decide to continue to live the lie or challenge yourself to a new existence.

In that moment is when you can find true happiness.
If you want it you need to grab it by both hands and never like go.
Cause if you wait too long, you can lose the most precious thing in the world.
Happiness is like the mastercard commercials priceless.
No amount of money in the world can buy happiness.
It can temporarily hide the pain but it will be waiting for you when you return.

If you ever read this I hope you find your true happiness.  Every person deserves a chance of true happiness.  It does exist, you just need to open yourself up to the possibility.
