The Grinch actually saved Christmas! This is a great holiday poem for all! |
Up on his mountain The Grinch looked down On all of the Who’s Decorating their town. The trees and the lights Stood and hung in the streets And the good green Grinch Couldn’t wait for Christmas treats, Yet he couldn’t but think What his hateful half brother would do To ruin Christmas For all of the Who’s. His horrible half brother, Brinch was his name, Destroyed and wrecked Christmas, That was his fame. And as he pondered his thought, His blue brother passed by In a Santie Clause outfit Looking ever so sly. He carried a bag That dragged slowly along And the old Brinch said something, He was singing a song! “I will take all their presents, The Who’s will be so upset, But I will walk out of here Without any regret! “They will wake in the morning, All ready to sing, And see none of the gifts That old Saint Nick brings!” And the Grinch stood there, Trying to think of a way To stop his mean brother And let the holiday stay. So the Grinch left his mountain And followed the Brinch Into the small town of Whoville, Secretly… inch by inch. When the Brinch took the presents And put them in his sack, The Grinch took them out When the Brinch turned his back. And for every Who house The Grinch did the same And all of the gifts Were slowly reclaimed. And when the Who’s woke up They smiled with glee, And unwrapped their presents Thanking Santie! And the Brinch was bamboozled, How did this happen? The Grinch smiled, He taught him a lesson. And now you know That the Grinch was nice Merry Christmas, And to all a good night!c} |
