Keep going.
What was I to say to you?
What should I have done?
Was there a way of saving you
I haven't already done?

Let me lay my life down
May my heart be overrun
The same old plea; choose not to leave
And yet you've up and gone

No perfect way to reason it
More ugly in the sun
So hide your fear and drown your tears
In that bottle full of fun

Because you'll push me till I break
You will snap my soul in half
And I will be so broken up
That you can never put me back

But it's alright I guess I'll say
My heart died righteous anyway
But what's the point of righteousness
When my love was all in vain?
