A poem about the earth after zombies
The moon hangs high above the land that was torn by powers beyond our might

We try and fight to stay alive. No hope for the youth is what we preach

Mankind has failed so greatly that we begin to devour our hopes

Say what you will about the time we die in. For it will be forever

Stay away from the cities. Run to the hills. Hide in the forest

The hoard will be close behind. The demons we created

Board up the house. Rot in the basement

The dead are coming. Forever and always.
