Ignorance is Your New Best Friend

You can't see your own treachery,
You're a traitor in disguise-
Your lies are your deception to cover up your pain,
The truth twisted and broken,
Feeding your ignorance.
Helping it to grow out of your control-
Don't deny that you've been caught in your own lie,
It's become your mask-
It's become your protection-
Ignorance soaks through your skin,
It drips to the floor like pooling acid-
It eats away at you.
You can't hide anything from me anymore.
Your secrets are my knowledge like ignorance being your new
best friend-
You act so innocently but I can see the deceit in your eyes,
It dances in there in the light of twilight,
It is the only thing keeping you alive,
The lies have killed you on the inside-
Your soul broken and battered from all the treachery,
You can't be saved,
There is no life left in you.
You're only a shallow husk of what you used to be-
Your soul begs to be saved but it's too late for you to
change.
You know that no one will be there to pick you up from
the ashes of the past,
All you have left now is your ignorance and your pain-
