My unsettled heart
I knew you were broken
But I never knew how
And it's not that it matters
But it's where we are now

And I share in your sorrow
Even though we are apart
I know you are lonely
I know how you're scarred

I wanted to love you
Because you could not love me
Give you all you were denied
Come and set your soul free

But you wouldn't let me
Maybe you never will
But I cannot stop trying
My heart can never be still
