Never thought of taking my life
It never crossed my mind
Even with all the strife
Myself I still managed to find

It’s against my religion to succumb to strife
My belief in God is all I need to get through

Does it bother me, strife?
Of course but I’ll survive without any doubt

My self-esteem shrank to a grain of rice

I blame it on the strife
For feeling so much turmoil

One day, unconscious I will lay!
