donny what a jerk

there is this guy named donny. and i liked him since last year. so i have been talking to him about our relationship. so he kissed me one day when he took me home. and then we got into this big fight. so acouple days ago, i found out he still has feelings for me. and i worked up enough nerve to ask him to homecoming. just to find out he asked another girl. and he was messaging the other girl and called me a mean name. and i was like what. so i messaged him and told him never to talk to me ever again. do you think it was right or wrong? and he always made me feel like crap.
