One Choice

Upon a lonely path I've chosen,
Drawing nearer my conclusion.
A voice so quiet in the silence there,
Deepening my resolution.

That voice rings solid a choice for me,
Make way for darkness rides!
Upon fingers of flames the devil danced,
Where this mind of mine divides.

Or Take the path which promises life,
Principles from times of old,
Which lead to water at wisdom's fount,
For knowledge of God I'm told.

I made my choice in the darkness there,
A life in peace I find.
To walk with God, break the chains,
And leave the drink behind.
