With soft deft strokes she paints the forest leaves. (Form: Ducuain) |
Autumn Requiem At Summer's end she paints the forest leaves. A mournful tune escapes her trembling lips; in spite of vibrant colors, she still grieves as through the season's hourglass time slips. While she can't let her emotions eclipse the task that Mother Nature has consigned to nymphs and other fairy folk conscripts, the music of her loss can't be confined. With soft deft strokes she paints the leaves, resigned. In reds and gold her sadness is enshrined.
