As I lay here on my own,
My eyes are shedding tears,
remembering the years,
thinking about my now,
and how they all,
abandoned me,
leaving me behind,
Bleeding in the shadows,
Where no one else can see,
the pain I try to hide,
yet somehow it leaks,
when all I've ever known,
is being left,
to survive on my own,
no hand to lift me up,
no words to keep me strong,
my strength is all my own,
but i get weak,
and I fall to my knees,
and they buckle beneath me,
they moved away,
or passed away,
or erased my memory,
atleast now,
I have you here,
to save me,
from myself,
you held me,
when the tears,
fell from my eyes,
all the sadness and pain,
all the lies and broken ties,
you help me close,
and listened,
my wish for you to stay,
grows stronger every day,
you might just make,
all that pain of yesterday,
slowly fade away,
stealing my heart,
from me,
you captivate me,
your eyes sincere,
your thought so kind,
I'm so happy with you,
I could almost cry,
falling for you,
carefully,
yet affraidof this feeling,
am I only dreaming,
only time will tell,
