A Glipse into the Future

Thanks to you all we stand before you today
Ready and Prepared
Steel has foraged though fire
Like it, we have remained stronger
Many challenges still await us
Through the years I have seen,
Enemies become friends
But with a heavy heart,
I saw the dearest of friends,
Become most terrible enemies
I saw people grow and change,
But of course, I saw some people never change
Whatever awaits us,
Terrible or wondrous,
We will be ready,
For what the future may bring.
