Yours out of paper with symbols engraved
Mine out of rage unleashed
We build our false selves
Hoping to never reveal the weakness underneath
But wanting to remain beneath
Beneath this surface of lies and deceit
No longer granting false happiness
Instead empowering our nemesis
We must shred our masks!

Breakdown this barricade surrounding your face
Destroy and forget how to rebuild
Remember this feeling; real emotion you now taste

Harbinger of mouths; ripper of lives
You come to carve us into cowardly actors
Playing out our sinful scripts behind masks of different colors
But alas the play producer screams!
His characters become more than pawns
They now live and breathe with renewed vigor
He realizes their masks have been removed
No longer his to control!
