This was the only way to get the grief out, by pen.
I close my eyes,
I can picture you,
sitting in your chair;
playing with your mustache.
Wishing I was there.
Now you have left.
I am all alone.
Empty is my heart;
though it still beats.
Where yours has stopped.
My eyes are red and swollen;
Misty, waving scenes.
Dull are all the colors.
my center aches within.
Grief is stark, naked pain.
Everything reminds me,
you are lost to me.
Wishing things where different.
It can never be,
How will I manage?
Living,so hard to do.
day to day blurs away.
My nights are filled with tears.
They say time heals.
God holds your hand,
my hand is cold.
I really don't know,
if it will ever be warm agian.
I guess I will waite and see
