A Mother's Day Visitor

My mother Ivy and I had a good morning for Mother's Day. My oldest son Marlon had waked me up . I seen a Mother's Day card on my nightstand.
He said,"Good Morning,Happy Mother's Day Mother". I said,"Thank You".
He gave a me a hug and kiss on my face cheek. He asked me,"What do you want for breakfast?" I was so shocked that he wanted to cook breakfast for the
family.

I couldn't said anything. I was speechless.He said,"Mother,how many slices of bacon do you want?" I said,Two slices".He asked his grandmother how many slices of bacon did she wanted. She said,"Two slices". He asked, my youngest son,Marco how many slices of bvacon did he wanted. Marco said,"I don't wanted any bacon". I walked into the kitchen to prepare some coffee for me and my mother. When Marlon got finish with the breakfast. We all prepare our plates to eat our breakfast.

We all sat down at the kitchen table to get ready to eat our breakfast. We heard a knock at the front door. I got up from the kitchen table. I walked into the living room to the front door. I said,"Who is it?'. The I looked out the front door window. I seen a woman. I said,It's Mae. our cousin. I opened the door to let her in the house. She said,"Hi,Bridget." She said, "Where is your mother Ivy". I said ,"She is sitting on the couch in the den watching T.V. Mae walked in the kitchen to the den.

Mae walked in the den. She look at my mother and give her a hug. Mae sat down on the couch. She asked my mother how was she was feeling today.
My mother said, "You know I had colon cancer." Mae said, "my sister told me."
Mae said,"Are you and Bridget are saved". We said, "Yes". Mae asked me to get my Bible. I got up off the couch. I walked to my bedroon to get my Bible of my nightsand. I walked back into the den. I handed Mae my Bible.

Mae opened up the Bible. She found a scripture she anted to read to us. She read the scripture. Mae started atlking about her marriage to this man. Mae  sais, "I met this man a church mission where I work with pepole who was homeless". She started talking about how this man she had married. Mae said, "When I married this man I didn't know this man had a drug problem."
Mae said,"He started stealing my money out of her purse."

Mae said, "This man had took a lot from me". Mae said ,"I was homeless". She said,"She didn't want her family to know that she was homeless. I said, "Why didn't you let your family know what was going on?" She said,"She wasw afraid of what her brother would had did to her husband." Mae look at her watch .  She said," I have to be get back to my house now." She said, I wil be keep in touch with my family." Mae got up from the couch. She walked to out the den. She walk out the kitchen to the living room to the front door. She walk to her car and drove off.
