Take a look around … this is your world.

Take a look around, this is your world.
We are but humans, and we see what we are;
By looking around at this world,
And seeing what’s been revealed, so far.

God lets us see and God lets us live.
We pursue the life that we desire;
For as long as He lets us live,
We’re attracted to the things that we admire.

We are what we want to be.
We think we are righteous, we think we are good;
But we are not any more than we can be,
Because we don’t normally do what we should.

For when we look around, we see what we can see.
It isn’t necessarily what God is trying to show us;
We are limited by weaknesses only He may see.
A little more effort may reveal more of what He does.
