poem is about love, lessons in life, and harboring expectations that should never exsit
Expectations,I never should have had
Despite everything else, all I could see was you sad
Captured all my feelings, emotions all I had
Then you turned around and fucked me up bad.
You didn't have to make me feel good
Could have said all you had to offer was wood
Then I would have known never to invest
Now I'm screwed up,going crazy with no rest.
Said never again would that happen to me
But you came along and i went on a love spree.
Gave you my heart
Then found out I was stupid not smart.
Thought I was the baddest bitch
But when i fell for you I decided to switch
Confident I was your woman and you my man
Now you left me without a leg to stand.
My life started making sense
Now I feel like a bank robbed without 1 cent.
The pain too real
The pain I wasn't supposed to feel
No explanations
So why did I have all those expectations?
Words are wind, that's what they say
So for not heeding those words I have to pay.
Unconditional love......is that not for me?
I guess not, that's why you left me be
But that's okay
Cause you never realize what you had till you stray.
I may not be a Bitch
But I'm still rich
Don't need a man to value me
Anytime I pass just watch and see
I'm beautiful I'm unique
I am who I am, I am me.
