The Rain just kept Falling
so much I Couldn't See,
not even a shadow.
The Rain fell Fast,
So Fast I Couldn't Hear,
except the pounding on the pavement
The Rain came down So Hard,
it darkened the birghtest star,
turning city streets into wild forests.
I was Scared.
Scared to Move.
Scared to Stay.
Which direction should I Go?
What path should I Choose?
I feared something lurkng.
I feared it was watching.
So I Waited.
Hoping for the Rain to Stop.
and Waited.
But how long should I Wait?
Are there more people stuck like me?
Are they Afraid of what what is Waiting for them in the illusive thicket?
I can't be alone.
I must move to Help them.
I have to Make My Way.
set aside my Fear.
I have to find a way,
to shine some Light,
so the others can see.
The Rain cannot win.
it is only water.
I will prove to the others waiting,
the Rain is Nothing to Fear.
No matter which direction you choose,
it is Safe to Travel Forward.
