One morning
One morning, the sun pranced through my thick glass,
I gazed upon its glory,
I felt jealous,
I broke my mirror that morning,
And with it I stepped over the shattered glass,
I smoked another cigarette,
And sipped upon the coffee cup,
Still it didn’t change the fact that the morning will come,
And sun rays will discover me; embarrass me by gazing at my little tiny self,
And prance around, again in front of my rusty window,
I cannot escape the sun,
As she only can see how forlorn I can be.
