The world faces the prospect of global warming due to pollution.
WHY WONDER?—An acrostic


Why wonder that today the world is poised
On the cliff, ready for self- destruction?
Now global warming has too well brought out
Drastic need for pollution reduction.
Endangered is today the human race.
Restrictions on our “growth” we must now place.



• Written in pentameter in abcbdd format as an acrostic around the word, “WONDER”
