This is a poem about a monkey that loses all his friends because he has been bad.
The monkey. by Samantha Clegg in 1L

There was once was a little brown monkey,

Who liked to swing from trees,

He was a little be chunky,

But he liked to be with the bees.

One day he swung too hard,

And kicked one of his friends in the face,

His friend was mean and called him a retard,

That put the monkey in his place.

The next day the monkey said sorry,

His friend said that isn't enough,

The monkey started to worry,

His friend started to huff and puff.

The monkey offered to buy him a gift,

His friend said a gift ? what like ?

The monkey said How about a facelift ?

His friend said no thanks but i will have a bike.

The monkey agreed and bought him the bike,

His friend said thank you very much,

The monkey said look i have a trike,

His friend said can i have a little touch.

So the monkey and his friend are friends again,

What a happy ending,

Look together they are going to Spain,

That's the plane they are attending.

The end.
