Fiction, a story I have come up with, inspired by a dream
This is my first "real" post...hope you like

I met Joe O'Reily in a dream.

Joe is a pleasant fellow, much like myself. He plays guitar in a cover band in Georgia. Savannah to be exact. His life is mostly dismal these days. His social life is non-existent, other than the gigs. Day after day, waiting tables, making a few bucks. He saves a little to purchase "the dream house". He feels as if he is just coasting through life, on a dingy pillow.

Joe finds himself daydreaming more often these days. Being nearly 30, he feels like high school all over again. He even thought about doodling the other day.  His family has been in his mind most recently, thinking of the past. Also, thinking of spending more time together. Joe's family is very close. Joe's parents used to host a quite large party in they're back yard. everyone would come to listen to the bands and eat barbecue. Those times, all of Joe's family would get together and have fun. It was a beautiful festival.

Joe's friend Rob is coming over to the house today. Rob is a very talented musician. Joe and Rob get together and play guitar and drink beer. Rob plays very, hard to find, difficult blues. Joe has a mild history of playing blues music. Joe's dad Don is an avid bass and saxophone player. Joe and his dad played in a band while he was growing up.

Joe and Rob have become the best of friends. Rob's level of playing guitar is very far in advance than Joe's. Joe grew up playing drums. In Joe's band, he plays rhythm guitar, its a little easier than lead. Joe's skill and confidence grows greatly while playing with Rob. such in fact that Joe and Rob are talking about writing songs. Joe's little stint of sadness is hindering him of his creativity. Which in blues music, is the creativity.

(This is all I have for now, I will hopefully write some tomorrow)

thanks for reading, any pointers will be very appreciated
