A man accused of something he never did. Looks to God for guidance rather than revenge
Such a victory can only be won in the yieldedness of self to Christ. "Thanks be to God who causes me to triumph through our Lord Jesus Christ!"

A threat is read aloud with my eyes
What it's about comes as a surprise

Shouting in anger, pain in the voice
Wishing someone hadn't made the choice

To sell their guilt to another man
And avoid the brunt from a human hand

As if the problem had been simply erased
To spare himself in the time and place

Differing these questions to another face
Hoping the lie would be embraced

By those who question, now believe
My character in jeopardy, by those who decieve

Sharing a story made of lies
As if I'm a sudden criminal, in disguise

Miles away from the ongoing hostility
Being accused is slowly killing me

Taking in the situation and what has occured
Finding it hard they believed every word

Thinking I'd be the one to blame
Slowly twisting my actions as if it were full of shame

As I have worked to be an honorable man
Striving to follow God and his ultimate plan

Yet those who accuse are often mistaken
As I am a man that cannot be shaken

Standing tall through times of trying
It's just another challenge I'm gladly finding

A bump in the road the Lord set in place
Seeing if I'd slow down short of the race

But the Lord knows me better than that
And chose for me to be the one attacked

Knowing i'm capable of rising above
When God tests me I can feel the love

The things I face in life are for a reason
Sometimes it's a matter of weathering the season

But I'm not alone and that keeps me alive
Gods just waiting for a battle tested child to finally arrive!!
