Don't Trick My Trees

Don't trick my trees into blooming,

I know that this isn't spring,

Though I hear the birds are chirping,

and it makes me want to sing,

And my days seem to be growing,

And at nights crickets sing,

don't trick my trees into blooming,

Cause I know it can't be spring.

The snow is still melting,

and cold winds are still blowing,

Mother nature must be lying,

because i know it can't be spring,

Even though my trees are blooming....
