Forever Drowning

Drowning in a sea of confusion and emotion;
Self doubt and insecurity,
I gasp for air,
As I fight to find something,
Anything to cling to;
Anything to hold on to to lead me safely to shore.

Shore,
Where everything is safe,
And known,
Does such a place even exist?
I will never know,
I will be forever drowning in this wide open sea.
