A collection of poems I've written in the past few months.
Mind, Body, and Soul

Oh girl, so far behind
Talk of yourself as though you're blind
Can't you see you have a beautiful mind?
A beautiful mind, body, and soul

Oh gal, you think you're so slow
Talk of yourself like there's nothing to show
Can't you see you have a beautiful soul?
A beautiful mind, body, and soul

Oh hun, your eyes do betray
You think you've no chance yet are too proud to pray
Can't you see you have a beautiful body?
A beautiful mind, body, and soul

Written for a friend when she was at her lowest. I like to think it helped, at least a little bit.

Sweet Relief

Time heals all
At least, so they say
They who don't know
Who just theorize all day

Time does not heal
Not the heart or the mind
Can't stop you from feeling
Or pining love you can't find

It doesn't change opinions
Or brighten your mood
It doesn't feed the hungry soul
Or clothe those hearts in the nude

It does do one thing, though
That other things can't
It's makes our experiences fade
And our memories scant

It makes our bodies tired
And our minds so beyond belief
But being tired is worth it
Because forgetting is sweet relief

Pizza Nirvana

Lots of cheese
Tomato sauce
Can't help but feel
It softens loss

Take a whiff
Flavorful bite
Starting to think
Nirvana's in site

Can't put it down
Once slice then the next
And when it's gone
I'm thoroughly vexed

When will I next bake one?
When will Flavor and I meet?
This is making me hungry.
When next can I eat?

So if you couldn't totally tell, I love pizza. Like...looooooove pizza. *Heart* Best thing to come from leftovers flung together EVER. Aaaaah.

???

Where sea and sky meet
And ripples become waves
Where it's all upside down
But no one wants to be saved

I never finished that one. Or, rather, continued. If any people have ever played Chrono Cross that second line comes from that game. Heh...odd, I know. But it's a very poetic line, and I like it. So there. xP No title, obviously, since I don't know where it would be heading.

Tick Tick Boom

Tip toe through the mind field
Careful not to set one off
...
Dot dot dot
Tick. Tick. Boom.

Keep Your Head

He's there then he's gone
Like deadly fog
He steals away into the night

But all left behind
Subject to his mind
Are girls that long for the bite

They're tricked for their blood
Are convinced that they're loved
Then he drains all that red away

So to avoid being dead
Best keep your head
And try not to be tricked someday

Sooo...yeah! I think that's all. =)
