It's a love story that was but is no more. Thank you.
Prologue:

Someone had put a curse in our drinks.
We were broken and we needed surgeons to fix us.

It was an honest attraction; it started in disguise of a flirt.

Was it love? It wasn't that complex and it wasn't carnal desire. He cared for you, no more.

Lust took him away from you. He didn't need you anymore.

Moans coming from his room didn't scare you anymore as they used to. The sight of a different girl every night didn't bother you as much because you knew he didn't care for them as much as he cared for you. He cared, but no more.

Night came and the darkness took you in dressed in a red. You always looked good in red.

Staring at yourself in the mirror, your heart is scared that maybe he wouldn't remember this special day. No he wouldn't forget, he cared.

Today will be a good day. We won't be broken anymore. You smile.

You lose yourself in the crowd and you put your best smile as he stood on stage microphone in his hand. He didn't bother to look at you for a second even though you were the only one wearing red.

You recognized a few faces, dark faces with desires unknown to you. Did they have a "Micky" in their lives? You shake this foolish thoughts behind your inner thoughts.

Why didn't he look at me? You think to yourself over and over again. I'm wearing this for him. For my Micky.

You tell yourself that maybe he didn't see you, maybe he thought you were some one else. But this wasn't it, and you knew it. You knew it like you knew why you were here .You were afraid to lose him, and you did. You lost him long ago with those women he slept with. He was gone and you were in the middle of a crowd drifting slowly into a pit of despair.

And you felt like crying.
