Written for my Basic Comp class. It had to be exactly 100 words, with none repeating.

Now that winter is dying
As its sitting there, lying
Let’s go celebrate
Jack Frost’s overdue fate

We can sled no longer
Heat’s getting stronger
That snow will melt
Snowballs end to pelt

Spring’s almost here
Children shall cheer
This solstice ends soon
We’ll eventually be in June

Hatred of winter’s grasp
Almost like an old man’s rasp
He ends his wheezing
While the Ice stops freezing.

Snowing turns into rain
So cold, numbs all pain
I hate frost
Reminds me of love lost

When autumn arrives
You’ll hear children’s cries
For they know
They’ll need their coats once again
