True stories, true events. She is real. I am real. What I have written is real. Enjoy.
They are stampeding:

A rush of emotions.

A gyratory within:

A tornado in my psyche.

Spiraling out of control:

From extreme to extreme.

Half up, half down:

Permanently sits my frown.

So time to relocate;

Time to start anew.

She makes me happy;

Maybe someday I’ll say I do.

A new city, a new life:

Enter the unknown:

A journey together:

Surely we’ll try.

Adventurous: Indeed.

Risky: In reality.

New people, new streets;

Different drums: Different beats.

New feats to accomplish:

New goals to achieve.

More tears to be cried;

More laughs to be shared.

So I continue with my Novel:

A new chapter to add.

A nervous beginning;

Not the first I’ve had.

I’m on my own,

I must look out for me.

She makes me happy;

I feel better to be me.

As I’ve said before:

“No money, no women,

No cars or boats,

Will motivate me more,

Than that of your attitude and doubt…

I trudge on,

I must,

As the days move on.”

They say to stay,

They say to go.

I have an idea,

On where I want to go.

Not up to them,

Not up to you.

I do as I please,

With her I want to be.

So now’s the time;

The moment of truth.

How will I respond?

Will I choke?

I’m experienced now,

Not to say I’m proud.

But I’ll guarantee,

I don’t run with the crowd.

I’ve had my nights:

In the sand on the beach.

I’ve had roommates:

Drug addicts and drunks.

I’ve been on the bottom:

Been stepped upon.

I’ve been broke:

Not enough food to go around.

Worked doubles,

Worked triples.

Six forty an hour:

Which was barely legal.

The best part remains,

You’d never know.

I’m clean cut and handsome,

And keep the past unknown.

For it’s this which motivates,

Keeps me sane.

Stronger within,

Mentality maintained.

I may trip and fall,

Over and over.

But that’s Life:

Many a hurdles.

So Baby I’m ready,

There’s nothing you can’t do.

I’m emotional and sensitive,

But any of it I can get through.

Let’s do this, I’m ready,

Let’s get a move on.

Let’s start our voyage,

Let’s experience the unknown.

Emotional indeed,

A new city, a new lease.

But with you I feel,

Such a euphoric release.

Me and you,

Time to start anew:

The two of us:

A picturesque view
