This a blog of my writing experiences, sucesses, and failures.
This is a blog of my writing experiences', my successes, my faliures, my feelings of where my ability is, and how far I've come and how far I've got to go to accomplish my goal.

I just finished reading "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. I loved this book! Harper definitely deserved to win the pulitizer for this book. It's so sad that she didn't write any more novels. When I finished it my eyes got all misty not because it was a sad ending but it was like listening to someone you hadn't talk to for a very long time, and that was what made me sad. A true great talent. I wonder why she never wrote any more novels? Hey if anyone out there knows, please feel free to leave me a comment and let me know.

Why do I write? I have often thought about why I write. Sometimes I don't know why I write. It almost seems like its a natural thing to do -- like scratching an itch. I write because I need to get all these thoughts and ideas out of my head. I'm still learning how to focus in on them and organize them into a complete picture.

If anyone is interested I have another blog at calggal.wordpress .com

When I view somebody's work I always leave some sort of review. The reason being even if I don't like it, I appreciate the effort that went into the work.

I have found that not everyone does this. I find it insulting when someone finds my work interesting enough to click on to read, and then doesn't bother to do a review or even bother to rate it.

I'm starting to wonder if this site is worth being on in the first place if people can't be bothered to give some feedback on the work that they read, it's very frustrating.

Hi Everyone,

I recently finished a course on how to blog with the Gotham Writers Group.

It was awesome they taught me so much that I'm still digesting it. My blog is calggal.wordpress.com. Check it out!

The instructor I had was wonderful, she was so knowledgeable and really interested in her students work and progress.

I also picked up a book called Blogging To Drive Business - Create and Maintain Valuable Customer Connections, by Eric Butow & Rebecca Bollwitt. This is a wonderful resource and I'm sure I will be using it as a reference book often.

Well everyone thanks for reading, and write on.

Cal.

I'm starting a writing class on blogging. It starts next week with the Gothams Writers Group. If anyone who reads this blog has taken classes with them before send me an email and let me know how you liked their classes. I'm hoping it will improve my blogging, as in case you haven't guessed I've never blogged before. Does it show?

Wow! I have only been on this site for a week and I already have some wonderful feed back on my work. This is great because after so many rejections I feel like there is hope.
