Sewing up my mistakes
I guess I got my fill of you
My fleshly desires filled up too
And now that you and I are through
I can tell I never loved you

I only wanted your body
When I should have wanted your soul
There's a mess between us that's unhealthy
And I don't know where we would go

Some evidence may decide to show up
But there is so much that I didn't know
And I'm finally sewing my heart up
Like I should have done so long ago
