After the winter all was frozen
No feelings at all
Along comes a shard of warmth
To shatter the cold and
Reawaken my heart
Into swirling sunny glory

A human touch a reminder
Of what could be
If risks were taken
Dare I start again?
After the disasters
The briefest touch told
Me I would be
A fool to forgo all that could be
If risks were taken

Snow lies over fertile ground
Frozen waiting or seeking
Warm sunshine, life’s next season will bring
If bravery can find luck
And risks are taken
