An eight-stanza poem on emotions I wrote during class
Boredom rules where the air hangs still
and keyboards don't clatter or click,
Where stories halt without places to fill,
and creativity's cut at the quick.

Sadness rules where the rain pours down
to scour our bleeding hearts,
Where the sky is dark and foreboding,
and hope shines but a spark.

Loneliness throbs in the hearts of those
who long for the heart of another.
Whose tears fall down without a sound
and stir only the dirt and the clover.

Bravery is born in the souls of those
who dare themselves to try.
In those who love and cherish friends
and those who care enough to cry.

Hope springs to life in waving meadows
stirred by bright constellations,
Where grasses bend and twist
and wonder envelops all speculations

Peacefulness thrives by the valley stream
that wanders and weaves though the hills.
Where birds sing by dawns early light
and mists roll about with their chills.

Happiness blooms where wild things grow
and the sky opens up, up above,
To share with you the stories told,
about adventure, tradition, and love.
