My significant other only truly cherished me when I left town.
I wish I could see you and kiss you while you have me in your arms. I miss our random endless conversations, your understanding of my spinning head. Why did you have to give me up? You remember me only when I'm gone; It's taken me so long to walk away; I faded away into our memories; you were never mine anyway. Why do you only remember me when I'm gone? All that time I let you lie to me. I lied to myself to make you seem like you cared. I'm only missed when I'm gone.
