My silly hopes
I think that it's over,
But it didn't begin.
Can I be your lover
Without being your friend?

Maybe you saw me,
Maybe you knew,
So many grabbed hold
Many times I slipped through.

But I'm done with evasion
And I'm willing to fall,
I'm hoping you'll catch me
But I'm probably wrong.
