I want to be someone else
Because I want to feel wanted.
I want to be talked to
Because people want to talk to me
And not because I'm just there.

I want to be someone else
Because I want to be chosen.
Not be cause I'm what's left
But because people truly want me.
I want there to be the choice
Of me or anyone else and I'm picked.

I want to be someone else
Because I want to feel pretty.
I want to BE pretty.
I want people to tell me that I'm beautiful,
Because that's never happened to me before.

Because I want to be goot at something.
I want my own special thing
That makes me different from everyone else.
I want someone to tell me
That I was born to do something,
That I was meant to do that something.
I want to have talent.

I want to be someone else
Because I hate who I am and where I'm from.
I want to know what it's like
To be something different,
Because I'm sick and tired of being who I am.

Because being myself isn't good enough for me.
