This is a short piece written by Magica45 about Hollyleaf's "Death". I DO NOT OWN THE CATS
CATS AND SETTING/PLOT COPYRIGHT TO ERIN HUNTER. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING (except the books I bought) =) *SPOILERS*

"Hollyleaf, don't do this!" Hollyleaf pelted through the rain-soaked forest, out running her brothers, Jayfeather and Lionblaze, who raced after her in a fury of paws and drenched fur. She'd just commited the worst happening yet to every Clan at the gathering, spilling the secret of her true parents to the whole forest to hear. Humiliation and regret never felt so hot on her flanks, tight in her heart as it had that wet night. 'Only one way I'll ever shake it off!' Hollyleaf thought frantically.
Swerving around a giant oak tree, Hollyleaf tore through the thick undergrowth as she veered off for her escape route. Her brothers still pounded hot on her heels, crying to her in desperation, "Please, Hollyleaf! We can work this out!"
"No, we can't!" Hollyleaf barely caught her stop as she skidded to a halt among slick grass which cloaked her get-away. The tunnels, gurgling with rain water, gaped up from the ground at Hollyleaf with open passage ways. 'Yes, those!'
"Hollyleaf," Lionblaze's hiss started his sister and she spun around, hostility lighting her eyes. The golden tom and his brother were prowling paw steps behind her, panting heavly with their pelts sodden. "What have you done? Don't leave us like this - come back to ThunderClan with us. The world isn't ending because of this, Hollyleaf!"
"Get away!" Hollyleaf snarled, venom tipping her voice. Jayfeather and Lionblaze jerked back liked she'd bitten them. "You don't understand! I made a huge mistake and can never take it back. My life has been tarnished because of this - I can't go back!"
"Yes, you can," Jayfeather's sightless eyes were sharp with persistence. He took an unsteady step forward, not flinching as Hollyleaf spat at him. "It was wrong for you to break out like that in the middle of the gathering. But if we go back and set things straight; explain, and talk this out, you'll feel much better." His gaze was hard as it rested near Hollyleaf, though it portrayed desperation and fury. "Please..."
Hollyleaf let out an enraged yowl, lunging for the tunnels. "I can't! I won't!" She extended her paws onward as thunder roared and rain splattered the earth as though StarClan was releasing its sorrow. It all tied together as Hollyleaf crashed head-first into the gaping opening of a tunnel, screeching as it shook with her weight. Mud squelched beneath her paws, sucking her down as water began to flood the entrance. "Hollyleaf!"
Too late. Hollyleaf clamered frantically inside but the walls began to crumble, sloshing over her pelt along with weak earth and waves of rain pouring through unmercifully. 'This wasn't supposed to be the end!" Hollyleaf opened her jaws in a silent cry as the mudslide engulfed the last of her body, snatching away her senses into a dense, black swarm of water and muck. 'StarClan, no!'
